ALL IS VANITY

色即是空 (shiki soku ze kū) originates from the 般若心経 (Heart Sutra) and holds deep significance in Buddhist philosophy. The full phrase in the Heart Sutra is, “色即是空、空即是色” (shiki soku ze kū, kū soku ze shiki), which translated means, “Form is emptiness, emptiness is form.”

In simpler terms, it means that nothing stands alone. Everything relies on other things, changes over time, and nothing lasts forever.

With that concept in mind, FAUSTIAN has freed Yoshimitsu—inspired by the classic Suicide King imagery—from his SOULCALIBUR VI identity to his new form in TEKKEN 8 using his signature seppuku move.
