BATTLE BREAK XIV is a structured labbing format that offers competitive experience with a casuals vibe. We will have designated warm-ups, paired labbing rotations, a free play lunch period, then finish off the event with either more rotations, a DE bracket, or deathmatches!

BATTLE BREAK XIV is currently capped to 12 players for both Tekken 7 and SF6. Given the nature of this format, we require one set-up for every two players for both Tekken 7 and Street Fighter 6. Player cap will be raised as more set-ups become available.

If you can bring a full set-up and player cap has been reached, contact us below so we can get you in and raise the player cap! Full details during registration check-out.

SCHEDULE

BATTLE BREAK XIV | Details (start.gg)

[Section 1: Doors Open, Warm-ups] 11:00am-12:00pm.

Award-winning coffee and doughnuts will be available from HeyDay until 1:00pm!

[Section 2: Labbing] 12:00pm - 4:00pm.

This is the first 6 rotations of 30 mins with 5 min gaps between for coverage. Rotation times are: 12:30, 1:05, 1:40, 2:15, 2:50, and 3:25.

[Section 3: Lunch Break, Freeplay Casuals] 4:00pm - 5:00pm.

Food carts on site, as well as many within walking distance, including full bars and restaurants.

[Section 4: Labbing Continued] 5:30pm - 9:30pm.

This is the final 6 labbing rotations. Rotation times are 6:00, 6:35, 7:05, 7:40, 8:15, and 8:45. This may also be replaced by a paid DE bracket or Deathmatches, depending.

[Section 5: Casuals and Run Over] 9:30pm - 11:30pm.

Open casuals, then clean-up and breakdown while any overages from Deathmatches or DE occur. Out by Midnight.

Defiant Fox Games, featured on the first floor of Freighthouse Square, is a local gaming store, specalizing in Magic: The Gathering and other card games. And features lego kits for sale, board games and retro games as well. Snacks and soda will be on sale at the venue so come on down and support this great local business.

Venue:

Freighthouse Square is a featured part of Downtown Tacoma, sporting family and locally owned shops, a food court upstairs with local food vendors and free parking across the street from the venue al in the shadow of the Tacoma Dome. Freighthouse Square is an incredible retro style venue that dates back to 1909 and we're happy to be having events here.

Defiant Fox Games, featured on the first floor of Freighthouse Square, is a local gaming store, specalizing in Magic: The Gathering and other card games. And features lego kits for sale, board games and retro games as well. Snacks and soda will be on sale at the venue so come on down and support this great local business.

Covid Policy

Masks recommended. If you've tested positive for Covid in the previous week please stay at home and let us know. We'll refund your entry. Also please stay home if you're sick.

Parking:

Parking is FREE across the street from the venue in the Tacoma Dome East Garage. We made sure there wasn't an event going on that weekend.

Food

There is a food court at the other end of Freighthouse Square with plenty of options. You can buy food there to go, and bring it into the venue to eat.
